Peter Sladic is the managing director of Capital Markets and Outreach for Boeing Capital Corporation, a wholly owned Boeing subsidiary. Sladic is responsible for developing and managing an integrated strategy that ensures adequate and efficient financing solutions for Boeing's customers as well as the company’s global stakeholder outreach program. Most recently, Sladic was the Boeing Capital senior director of customer finance for the Americas, responsible structure financing solutions for Boeing’s customers located in the region. Prior to that role, Sladic was the director of Treasury and Investments for Boeing Capital, responsible for leading its treasury activities related to corporate finance, capital markets, cash management and its process for undertaking financial commitments. Before joining Boeing, Sladic was the Treasury director at Juniper Networks in Sunnyvale, California. There he was responsible for core Treasury activities including corporate finance, capital markets, investments and foreign exchange risk management. Sladic led Juniper’s inaugural $1 billion public debt offering in 2010 and was responsible for managing the company’s $4 billion cash and investments portfolio. His responsibilities included managing the company’s banking relationships and credit agency related activities. Prior to Juniper Networks, Sladic was with Cisco Systems where he contributed in several roles including treasury corporate finance and capital markets, investor relations, and business economics and risk with Cisco Capital. Before his tech industry career, Sladic worked at Bombardier Aerospace in Toronto, Canada, where he served in a variety of roles including methods engineering, flight sciences engineering, contracts, marketing and sales. While in flight sciences engineering, he contributed to the type certification efforts for the Dash 8 Q400, and then later while in contracts, he delivered the first four Dash 8 Q400 aircraft that went into service with the Scandinavian regional airline formerly known as SAS Commuter. Sladic holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and a master’s degree in business administration from Arizona State University in Tempe.
