Rupert is responsible for Commercial Finance for the UK, Ireland and Israel regions of Oracle as well as advising on the structure of the Global Business Finance organization. His role involves managing and leading Oracle’s Finance organization across the UK region providing support to the business at all levels both internally and externally. This is achieved by leveraging both, local and centralized Finance teams. In addition, he is driving the project to bring globalization and standardization to the entire Global Business Finance organization in Oracle, driving efficiencies and increased service levels, through standardization, centralization and automation. Rupert has worked in the Technology Industry for 15 years, and been in Oracle for the last 8 years. During his time at Oracle, he has led the Global Revenue Recognition team, in charge of revenue assurance for Oracle’s entire global revenue stream, and also run the Operations team for the Global Business Finance organization. Prior to Oracle, Rupert held senior financial positions at Pivotal Software, Informix Software and Marks and Spencer plc, having qualified as an accountant with PWC. Rupert is a qualified Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Masters degree in Economics from Cambridge University. He is married with four children.
