As businesses across the United Kingdom seek to find new and innovative ways to support their firms through the Coronavirus pandemic and start to look beyond, FSB looks at the opportunities for small firms to export their way out of the crisis.

Action on global trade and tariffs has already been vital in securing critical medical supplies, equipment and safeguarding our supply chains of food, drink and other essentials. As the UK starts to look at kickstarting the economy, other international markets who are further along such as China are already bouncing back. UK small business opportunities lie in tapping into these new markets, reaching new customers, and the current negotiation of new UK trade agreements.

In this webinar we will be joined by the Secretary of State for International Trade, The Rt Hon Elizabeth Truss MP, and FSB Chairman Mike Cherry to discuss the opportunities and hurdles facing UK small businesses who want to begin or increase their exporting activities.

The webinar will be broadcast live on May 20, at 4:30pm. If you have any questions for the panel, tweet them to @fsb_policy on Twitter, using the hashtag #FSBtrade no later than May 19, at 5:30pm. A selection of submitted questions will be included.
